Yay for Friday! And what a beautiful Friday it was! My mom and I went to Ogden today to have lunch and do a little shopping. We went to Rainbow Gardens up Ogden canyon and ate lunch at their restaurant called "The Greenery." I just absolutely love that place. However, I could not have my usual dish that I order. I always get their "Marco Polo." Ooohh it is so good. It consists of a toasted English muffin cut in half....on one half is shaved turkey and on the other half is shaved ham. Then topped with hollandaise sauce and broccoli. So, I ordered the salad bar and vegetable soup along with Orange Spice tea and water. It was great!
Afterwards we shopped in the glorious Rainbow Gardens gift shop. I didn't buy much, but it is always so neat to just look around. If any of you Utah folks reading this have not been there, you need to go! It is one of the most delightful places I have ever been. It has such a wonderful ambience and is just a great "feel good" place.
On our way into Ogden, I stopped by this lady's office to get another body scan. My numbers looked pretty good, but my liver still needs more cleansing. So she put me on another round of liver cleanse and pro-biotics. I was really hoping she would let me add more food to my diet, but I can't for another 3 weeks. Poop! But, she did tell me about some creamy buckwheat cereal I could buy at the health food store, along with some brown rice crispie cereal. I am excited to have something else to eat for breakfast! She said when my system is all clean and has the good bugs put back in (that is what the pro-biotics are for) I can have more variety in my diet.
It will be worth it!
It is Spring Break and I am looking forward to having some time with my son this next week. I think we will hit the movies a couple times and go bowling. I am also excited to get out in the yard and start cleaning things up a bit. I saw so many cute things at Rainbow Gardens today that I wanted to buy for my yard and patio, but I really need to get out there and clean up first. I would love to put lights and pretty decorations around my patio this summer. I think that would make it so nice!
Well, I am off to bed. I am subbing Zumba for my friend in the morning, so I better get rested up! Have a good night everyone! Here is what I ate today:
