Day 21- Spring Break!

Yay! It is Spring Break and I get to spend the whole week with my son. We plan to go see a few movies this week, along with some bowling. I am going to try and get him to the gym with me, too. I love my Zumba, but I think I am going to mix it up a bit this week. There is a spin class at my gym that I think I will try. Also, at the studio where I teach, our main Zumba instructor teaches Pilates. I have been to her class before, and I loved it. I just need to go back again. She also is starting a Turbo Kick class on Tuesday nights that I am really excited about.

I had a much better day today. It was a quiet and relaxing. The boys went up to Beaver Mountain for one last ski day before the season closed. I was going to go with them, but chose to stay home and collect my thoughts. I am glad I did. I read, sewed Kool Aid wallets, and worked on Zumba choreography. Oh how I love my Zumba! Something about the music that touches my soul and makes me want to MOVE! It is great music to clean your house to, too!

I also went to Kohl's tonight because I was in desperate need of a new bra. I actually bought 2 of them. I know....woopie. BUT, good news! I am down a bra size! That made my day! I do not like being big chested at all. When I was petite and weighed 120 pounds, I did not have a lot upstairs, and that was ok with me. When I am small chested, I can run, dance, and jump with ease. I will take a firm butt and flat tummy over big boobies any day. Ok, enough of that (Just incase men read this...LOL) Awkward! Hey, I have to have a sense of humor through all of this. Especially after my day yesterday.

I talked to a cousin of mine on the phone tonight who specializes in sleep apnea. She was so nice and informative, and gave me a lot of good info on what I can do. I will have to go to a sleep center and get tested. Then get a CPAP machine. She said it makes all the difference in the world. She also said that not getting enough oxygen at night can slow down weight loss. Wow. I have heard that you need to breathe right and get plenty of oxygen to lose weight. She said that a lot of people who start using a CPAP machine will usually start dropping weight. I have heard how some people try so hard to lose weight by dieting and working out, and the weight just creeps off slowly. Maybe they aren't getting the sleep at night that they need? Makes total sense. I will be calling my Dr. tomorrow to get in for an appointment. I really want to start sleeping better at night. I don't think I am getting to the "phase" of sleep that I need to be in. I will keep you all posted!

Note to Mother Nature: Please Dear Mother Nature, make up your mind! You gave us a few days of gorgeous, warm weather, and today you make it snow??? I would really love to get out in my yard and do some things, and clean up my patio. Please please? Thank you!
